If you are feeling suicidal or having suicidal thoughts you need to get help as soon as possible. Phone a help line, message a text line or talk to someone you trust.

What to do

If you don't feel safe right now, then seek help immediately

  • Call NHS 111 and select the mental health option or get a friend, relative or loved one to do it for you. 
  • Visit urgent help for more information

  • Speak to your GP and arrange an appointment or call the out-of-hours service
  • Read the Letter of Hope, written by people of Devon who were once struggling to stay alive.
