For people using our services

Medication can play an important role in supporting recovery.

Information is available about medicines and mental health on the Choice and Medication website. By finding out more about your medication, you can come to a decision about it that is right for you. The website has been specifically designed to help answer your questions about medicines prescribed to treat mental health conditions.

You can access the Choice and Medication website to find a range of information, including:

You can also find out more from the following websites:

  • Lifted is a dementia website full of products to try and allow someone with dementia to continue to live independently for as long as possible
  • Bumps for information about mental health medicines in pregnancy

We offer a medicines information telephone helpline, available in Devon only, on 01392 674 900. The helpline is available for people who use our services and their carers, if they have any questions or concerns about medication and would like to discuss this with a specialist mental health pharmacist.

Learn it LMS

We are committed to supporting patients living with a wide range of mental health conditions in the community. As part of this commitment, we have commissioned the setting up and funding of online training for our colleagues working in other organisations who share the care of our patients including those taking clozapine.

'Clozapine- A Concise Clinical Overview' has been certified by the College of Mental Health Pharmacy (CMHP) and is suitable for healthcare professionals working in a community or acute care setting such as primary care, residential homes and general hospitals.
