New Electronic Prescribing Service launching soon
We're pleased to share that from July, we will begin rolling out a new Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS) across our community services.
This change means that, where appropriate, your prescriptions will be sent electronically from your clinician directly to your nominated pharmacy - removing the need for paper prescriptions in many cases.
The introduction of electronic prescribing is designed to make accessing your medication simpler, quicker and more convenient:
You can help us make this service work smoothly by:
- Choosing a pharmacy you would like your electronic prescriptions to be sent to
- Letting our team know if you would like to change your nominated pharmacy at any time
If you do not yet have a nominated pharmacy, our staff will be happy to support you with this.
Electronic prescribing is part of our wider commitment to improving digital services and enhancing your experience of care. By reducing delays and simplifying processes, we aim to make managing your medication as straightforward as possible.
