Hedgerow and orchard project film on display
A film created by patients and staff at Langdon Hospital in Dawlish is being displayed for people at the site to view.
Wildlife cameras were placed around the environment, with locations decided on by both patients and staff.
The nature film was a collaborative effort with the footage gathered by patients in 1:1 and group sessions and then edited together by Frances, from the Physical Health team at Langdon, whose involvement in the project is part of a wider 'Greener Minds' movement, to encourage more nature connection at Langdon.
Alex, Occupational Therapist Technician, said: "The hedgerow and orchard project has benefitted from some fresh input and enthusiasm lately. The Thursday morning sessions are getting service users, volunteers and staff working together on a variety of new and exciting projects.
"While all this goes on, we need to remember that we are sharing our wonderful environment with other creatures and a new film has gone up in Langdon Hospital reception to celebrate this. Text accompanies the footage to give some context and there are a few interesting hedge facts that people will hopefully find interesting!"
