Training from Mindful Employer

Building confidence for mental health at work

Knowing how to support mental health at work takes more than awareness. Our training helps your people build the understanding, confidence, and practical skills necessary to put that support into practice in their roles.
As an NHS-led service, we bring together mental health and human resources expertise to make learning relevant to the workplace. Choose from our existing workshops or talk to us about training tailored to your organisation.

Being a Mindful Manager

Helping managers build the confidence and skills to support mental health at work.

Managers don't need to be mental health experts to support mental health at work. Our Being a Mindful Manager training explores how mental health can affect people at work and gives managers space to develop their understanding, ask questions, and build confidence. The workshop also develops practical skills for having conversations about mental health and supporting staff appropriately.

Designed for: Managers, team leaders, and anyone with supervisory responsibilities.
Time commitment: 3.5 hours, including a short break.
Group bookings: For 6-16 people, delivered remotely or on-site.

Talking Wellbeing

Encouraging open conversations about mental health and wellbeing at work.

Talking about our mental health isn't always easy, especially at work. Talking Wellbeing helps employees build their understanding of mental health, wellbeing, and resilience, with opportunities to reflect on the different things that can affect how 0we feel at work and beyond. The workshop builds confidence and practical skills for talking about mental health and wellbeing, including conversations with line managers.

Customer Support and Mental Health

Helping customer-facing staff navigate conversations about mental health.

It can be difficult to know what to say when a customer is experiencing difficulties with their mental health. This workshop helps customer-facing staff develop their understanding of mental wellbeing and a range of mental health conditions. It explores how that understanding can inform conversations with customers, while building confidence in communicating sensitively and supporting someone who may be experiencing distress.

Designed for: Anyone in a customer-facing role.
Time commitment: 3.5 hours, including a short break.
Group bookings: For 6-16 people, delivered remotely or on-site.

Helping people recognise when someone may need support and know what to do next.
