Max Hough, Head of Research Services
Max has more than 30 years of experience within the NHS, with a career spanning nursing, research delivery and research management.
Throughout her career, she has held a variety of clinical and research leadership roles, giving her extensive insight into frontline healthcare and the systems and infrastructure that underpin high-quality research and innovation. Max previously served as the Regional Delivery Network Study Support Service Senior Manager, a key regional leadership role in which she led teams and supported the successful set-up and delivery of research studies across the region.
As Head of Research Services at Devon Partnership NHS Trust, Max provides strategic leadership for research support functions, strengthens partnerships, drives continuous service improvement, and supports the delivery of high-quality health and care research that benefits patients, services and communities.
