Create a great place to work
Our intent
Staff wellbeing, belonging and recognition are foundational to effective care.
We will do this by
- Fostering a restorative, just and learning culture including a focus on compassionate leadership
- Making staff wellbeing and recognition a headline priority, celebrating success and efforts
- Improving communication so staff feel informed and involved, taking stock of and evolving the current mechanisms and channels based on learning and experiences, enabling staff, teams and leaders to communicate well internally and externally.
- Supporting staff development, wellbeing and career growth with inclusive opportunities, reasonable adjustments and widening participation
- Maximising staff skills, multidisciplinary ways of working and a learner focussed culture, to benefit our communities, through supportive workplaces and digital tools
- Effective and open engagement, communication and dialogue across the organisation, particularly in relation to times of change and challenge
- Strengthening staff networks and Board connection
Success by 2030 means
- Improved staff survey results on wellbeing, engagement and communication
- Reduced sickness absence and turnover
- Staff feeling valued, safe and proud to work at DPT and able to speak up
