Our anti-racism commitment
Devon Partnership NHS Trust is committed to taking action to ensure we are a truly anti‑racist organisation. We will not tolerate racism and will tackle it in all its forms, wherever and whenever it occurs.
We are making this public anti‑racism statement to clearly set out our commitment to tackling discrimination, improving equity and ensuring our services and workplaces are safe, inclusive and welcoming for everyone.
We want anyone who needs our services to be able to access them equitably and without fear of prejudice or discrimination, and we want our staff to feel safe, valued and able to achieve their full potential.
To mark our commitment, we have launched a short anti‑racism film featuring:
- Phill Mantay, Our Chief Executive
- Venura Perera, Non‑Executive Director
- Hugo Ho, Chair of the Ethnic Minorities Staff Network
In the film, they speak openly about why anti‑racism matters to our organisation, the impact of racism on staff and patients, and the collective responsibility we all share to challenge and address racism.
