Forensic intellectual and neurodevelopmental service (FIND)
We support people with intellectual disorders, Autism, or acquired brain injuries who are in, or referred to, secure services due to concerns about their perceived risk of future violent or aggressive behaviour. We operate across Devon, Cornwall, and the Isles of Scilly. We act as a gatekeeper for secure inpatient referrals, preventing unnecessary admissions and identifying suitable care pathways. We also provide assessments, consultations, training, and both direct and indirect support to help people access effective, timely treatment. While FIND does not offer crisis or acute care, we strive to respond promptly based on priority.

Forensic personality disorder service
We support people with a primary diagnosis of personality disorder detained under the Mental Health Act and in secure services. We provide assessment, consultation, training, and support to ensure access to effective and timely treatment. The service helps reduce reliance on out-of-area placements, by prioritising South West network beds where possible. We offer our service to people from Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly who may have been transferred out of their home area to hospitals across the country.

Community forensic team
Our aim is to reduce or safely manage people whose mental health and behaviour may put members of the public at risk, and would thereby otherwise lead to contact with the criminal justice system or admission to a secure hospital.
