Specialist Medicines Optimisation Nurse nomintated for four awards
We are proud to announce that Queen Okesola, Specialist Medicines Optimisation Nurse at Devon Partnership NHS Trust, has been nominated in four categories of the She Did That Awards.
The awards celebrate women who give their time, energy and expertise to create positive change, often quietly and always powerfully. They are organised by SISTAS (Supporting Independent SISTAS to Achieve Success) and NHS England's London BAME Network to celebrate International Women's Day.
The four categories Queen has been nominated in are:
- The Heart of Gold Award represent women who leads with empathy and humanity, placing people at the centre of everything they do and making a lasting difference through acts both big and small.
- The Unstoppable Woman Award represent women whose courage, persistence and vision turn challenges into stepping stones, proving that when purpose needs action, nothing can stand in the way.
- The Quiet Power Award represent women who make a big impact behind the scenes. Whose influence is felt more than heard, whose steadiness shapes outcomes and whose presence strengthens everyone around her.
- The Go to Person Award represents women who are reliable problem solvers. Knowledgeable and approachable, she is someone others consistently turn to for guidance, support and solutions.
Queen has been nominated in recognition of the impact she makes through her generosity, leadership and the way she uplift others.
Queen said: “Giving our time, expertise and support to uplift others creates impact far beyond what we see. I am honoured to be nominated across the four categories and to celebrate the many women whose leadership and contributions continue to make a meaningful difference.”
Joycelyn Boyce, SISTAS Network Co-Chair, NHS England said: "Queen, your nominations speak volumes about the difference you make and the respect you’ve earned from those around you."
Queen will be attending the ceremony on Friday 6 March in London, ahead of International Women’s Day on March 8.
