There's a real feeling of satisfaction when you see a patient getting better. It's what drives me to come to work and be part of a team.

Antony - Community Consultant Psychiatrist

It was by chance that I came to Devon. I saw the job advert and applied. I remember coming down on the train from The Midlands to Exeter and suddenly seeing the scenery changing. I thought 'wow', this looks like a nice place. I sat the interview, got the job but I wasn't really sure about moving so far away, but looking back and choosing to live in Devon was the best decision I made. I absolutely feel at home in Devon, everyone is friendly and welcoming and it has a fantastic relaxed atmosphere.

Rhea - Registered Mental Health Nurse

The Preceptorship Programme is flexible to your needs and to how much support you require. I've met people from North Devon and Torbay that are all doing their Preceptorship at the same time... it's a really nice social support network, as well as providing clinical support.

Georgina - Ward Manager

I really like living by the coast. At the moment I'm a two-minute walk away from the beach which is absolutely fantastic. It's so relaxing and you can go there straight from work, walk along the seafront and just hear the sea. It's amazing. It's also great for my family. My children have flourished since moving here and there is so much for them to do. It's definitely a great place for a family to live. I love it.
