Non-medical Prescribing
This policy sets out the practice standards within a governance framework to support safe, effective and appropriate prescribing by nurse and pharmacist independent and supplementary prescribers for people who use our services. This policy applies to all qualified Non-medical Prescribers employed by Devon Partnership NHS Trust (or providing services in accordance with a service-level agreement) who carry out the duties of either an independent or supplementary prescriber as well as line managers and medical supervisors who support practicing non-medical prescribers.
