Enhanced Reconnect (ER) Service

Supporting People, Meeting Needs, and Building Better Lives

The Enhanced Reconnect (ER) service aims to help offenders who have complex health needs and are rated as high-risk or very high risk. ER works with individuals from six months prior to their release from prison, and up to 12 months afterwards.

ER aims to help individuals to re-engage with community-based health and support services and enhance wellbeing, to reduce social exclusion, and to reduce their health-related offending behaviours. This is by offering structured support, advocacy, signposting, and bespoke therapeutic interventions. The ER team also provides advice and opinion on case management, and can inform and/or attend risk forums (e.g. Multi-agency public protection arrangements [MAPPA])

Our ER is a psychologist-led service covering a geographical patch which includes: Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Bristol/Avon, and Gloucestershire.
