We have three hubs within our secure services.
Located in Dawlish, Langdon Hospital is the base for inpatient secure mental health services. These services are available to adult males requiring access to medium secure, low secure and open services. Also located in Dawlish are the Community Forensic services who support adult males and females at every stage in their care pathway including inpatient and community settings. Devon Partnership NHS Trust have also developed prison based secure services to provide mental health support to those that need it across the three prisons in Devon.
Our unique inpatient service allows men to follow a care pathway through assessment and into open, low or medium secure accommodation.
We pride ourselves on working in partnership with the men who use our services, helping them to benefit from a wide range of treatments, therapies and care to assist in their recovery.
Our Offender Personality Disorder Service works with male offenders who have received a diagnosis of a personality disorder.
We believe that carers, families and friends are as important as the person staying at Langdon.
We work hard to develop real partnerships with carers. By providing opportunities for them to share their experiences, we can combine our efforts to improve the services we offer.
