Baby Apps

Dad and Partner Links

App = Australian - Free to download in iOS and Android, the app provides week-by-week information on essential topics to help mums and dads (and anyone supporting them) adjust well to the first six months of life with a baby. As you navigate the highs and lows of a new world this app gives you the knowledge, skills and reassurance to become a confident parent.

This website contains information about common experiences in the early months of parenthood and some effective ways of thinking about and managing them.

All information on this website is drawn from up-to-date research and the experiences of many parents of new babies. We hope that you find the site helpful as you learn to live with your first baby.

Baby Steps aims to enhance the wellbeing of new mums and dads and support them in their transition to parenthood. Adjusting to life with your new baby is exciting, but also challenging. Most websites and services are mainly for mums but the adjustment is just as big for dads as it is for mums.  Baby Steps is relevant for both parents.

Baby Steps was written for parents having their first baby, but can be used by anyone with a young baby who wants to learn more about caring for their baby or themselves.
