Perinatal services
We provide a specialist community service to women living in Devon and Torbay. We also have an inpatient Mother and Baby Unit in Exeter, with an attached outreach service for women living in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.
How we can help
We provide care and treatment for women who are pregnant or up to 12 months postnatal and who are at risk of, or are affected by their mental health. We also offer expert advice to women considering pregnancy if they have a diagnosed mental illness or previous significant post-natal mental illness.
Accessing our service
Your midwife, GP, health visitor or other healthcare professional can refer you. If you need immediate help please contact your GP or NHS 111.
We are open 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Meet the team
Our professional teams work together to provide care and treatment that is appropriate for you. Our multi-disciplinary teams include health and social care professionals, social workers and peer support workers, who will work closely with you and your family. We also have students on training placements.
