New Leaf is part of Devon Partnership NHS Trust’s Vocational Rehabilitation Service. Our service has been developed from delivering many years of therapy, training and supported employment to adults living with a mental health condition who are working towards paid employment now or in the future.
Established in 1990, Hillcrest Growers is based on a 35 acre site and operates as a commercial plant nursery producing plants for the public and private sectors. People are encouraged to become part of the experienced horticultural team where they will have the opportunity to learn and develop many transferable skills
The printing department has been established since the early 1990s. New Leaf Print offers people who use the service the opportunity to work in a print production environment, learning most aspects of printing from using digital printing technology to operating print-finishing tools, all on an individual basis and in a recovery focused direction.
Wood Works offers a wide range of supported training opportunities in a fully equipped workshop environment. In-house certificates of competence in basic and more advanced hand tool use are offered as well as an introduction into basic wood turning. These involve attending short courses held in our own workshop.
