During the current outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) we have made some temporary changes to the way that we support people and how they can get in touch with us. In line with government guidance, we are minimising face-to-face contact. We have made these changes to help ensure the safety of our patients, staff and their families - and everyone who comes into contact with our organisation. Please note our telephone support is only available during normal centre opening times.
Holsworthy Link Centre is in Well Park which is a small cul-de-sac off Western Road. We are opposite the fire station and police station. We are easily accessed from the Leisure Centre (Well Park) public car park.
Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:30am – 4:30pm.

The Holsworthy Link Centre is a safe and non-judgemental environment where you can be supported and encouraged to seek information and guidance regarding your recovery.
During the drop in people come to develop their social support networks over a coffee and to access support from staff in a solution focussed way. Staff members can be available if you have any concerns or if you need to talk over any difficulties you may be facing. Our staff are not trained counsellors but are experienced listeners. You can come and go as you wish during these sessions.
We also offer an outreach service for people who are unable to attend our centre as a result of their mental health difficulties. We can help with anxiety issues which may prevent you leaving your home and provide support to help you access your local community services. This work is tailored to the individual and time limited due to staffing constraints.
We run a variety of groups on a rolling programme. Some groups are educational and others therapeutic. The groups are small so that we can offer support to individuals throughout the sessions.
We run a regular monthly meeting where you get an opportunity to have your say and raise any ideas or concerns you may have about what happens at the centre. Everyone is welcome to attend and there is no pressure to contribute with a suggestion box for people to use if they prefer.
Groups and activites
There is a quiet room, social room, pool room and kitchen. We have an art & craft area, IT area and garden area.
We offer cost price tea and coffee, use of kitchen and microwave.
