Trust reports back on listening events

Posted on 17th November, 2008

The Trust has now written to everyone who attended the series of seven public listening events held around the county earlier this year. The events, which were largely well attended, prompted some very useful discussion and suggestions about current services and our plans for the future. Wherever possible, the Trust will be responding to the key themes that emerged from the events, and the Trust’s Clinical Cabinet has already discussed the findings from the events and agreed some actions. These include making the side-effects of medication available on the Trust’s website, working with PALS teams across all NHS Trusts in Devon to promote a wider understanding of the principles of recovery and supporting a user and carer led recovery conference. A summary report on the public listening events and the resulting action plans are now available. Click here to view the report and summary. Overall feedback about the events was very positive and the Trust is planning to hold another series next year.
