Thank you to our amazing Torbay Half Marathon runners

On Sunday June 24 in the blazing summer sun, two super-humans took on the picturesque but incredibly warm Torbay Half Marathon in aid of the Devon Partnership Trust Charity.

A huge well done to Tim Vialls (Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner) and Ashley Clement (Assistant Practitioner) who braved the heat, took on 13.1 miles and raised vital funds to support the essential services that we provide for the local community and nationally.
The money they’ve raised will enable us to provide above and beyond what the NHS is able to fund. This could be a therapy session which stimulates memories, the increased capacity of a vital service, or the transformation of a space which allows our patients to thrive.

You can still show your support to Tim and Ashley by clicking on the links below and giving generously:

Alternatively, if you’d like to take on your very own challenge to support our charity then there is a 10% discount on places for Mud and Sweat at the River Dart Country Park in Ashburton on Sunday 14 October.

The Mud Run is a friendly, fun event and as challenging as you want to make it. The course is set in open meadows and dense woodland alongside the beautiful River Dart. The obstacles are a mixture of natural and man-made being both creative and thrilling. There is something for everyone whether you are running solo, as part of a team, raising money for charity or supporting someone in the event, the park has so much more to offer to make it a great day out for everyone.

For more information, or to enter The Mud Run please email Daniel Robson, Head of Charity Fundraising.

Lastly, thank you again to Tim and Ashley for supporting the Devon Partnership Charity to help give extra hope and support to those with mental health and learning disability needs.
