Today is Stress Awareness Day. Although stress can at times feel overwhelming, there are lots of different ways that we can manage both the physical and emotional symptoms of it. If you would like some support with this, TALKWORKS can help. Our NHS Talking Therapies Service can offer a wide range of treatment and support for managing stress, and improving sleep. This includes:

  • One-to-one sessions with a therapist, available face-to-face, over the phone or by video call
  • TALKWORKS’ Stress Less workshop (available for our staff to book as a bespoke session for their team)
  • Interactive group courses
  • Online self-help (accessible anytime of the day or night, 7 days a week)

You do not need a referral from a GP to access TALKWORKS’ services, you can refer yourself online or over the phone. For more information on the different treatment options and therapy services, please visit the TALKWORKS website or call 0300 555 3344.

The Devon Wellbeing Hub is also here to help staff who are feeling stressed, overwhelmed or burnt out. If you work in healthcare, social care or the police and are struggling with any aspect of your wellbeing, or you lead a team who would benefit from support, the Hub can help you today.

Please get in touch by emailing dpt.devonwellbeing@nhs.net or by calling 0300 303 5455. You can also fill out the simple referral form on the Devon Wellbeing Hub website.
