The Trust's Service Development Strategy for 2006-2009 was approved at the Board meeting at the end of November. Printed copies are now available and will be distributed across the Trust, to service user and carer groups and other external stakeholders. The strategy sets out the Trust's desired direction of travel for developing and improving all of its services over the next three years. It also describes the environment in which it will be working and the factors that will influence its development - such as Payment by Results, Agenda for Change, Improving Working Lives and Connecting for Health. The strategy has been developed by a Trust-wide planning group, led by Ralph Hayward, and has been informed by a number of pieces of work, including the discussion document Progress in Partnership, which was circulated widely for comment earlier this year.
