Scott Richards Solicitors make donation to our charity instead of sending Christmas cards

Secure Services at Langdon, Dawlish received a £150 donation from Scott Richards Solicitors in Teignmouth. This kind donation was given in place of sending Christmas Cards and was voted for by their clients via a questionnaire.

Hayley Smithurst, Personal Assistant at Scott Richards said, “We’re committed to playing our part in looking after both our local community and environment. Ten years ago, as part of our going green pledge, we made the decision to stop sending wasteful Christmas cards and to instead donate the money we would have spent, to local charities. We give our clients the option to vote for the charities and causes they are passionate about when completing our feedback forms and we had a huge response for mental health services. The work that Langdon Hospital does is invaluable to our local community, making a difference to patients and families across the Teignbridge area and so we are delighted that the hospital has been chosen”.
