Remembrance Day 2021

Poppy with blue NHS lanyardIn the UK, Remembrance Day (Armistice Day) is held on the 11 November and is an annual day of commemoration to honour members of our Armed Forces who lost their lives in the line of duty. It is also an opportunity to show our appreciation for those who have and continue to serve.

Services will take place across the country both on Thursday 11 November and also on Remembrance Sunday, 14 November.

Stagecoach bus company are offering free transport for forces personnel and veterans when they are attending remembrance services.

Becky Last, Assistant Practitioner, said: "Our Veterans service remains fully operational and will usually see a rise in referral rates around this time. The Veteran's team are available for any British Armed Forces Veterans residing within the organisation area. We offer specialist assessment, short term interventions and treatment pathways for Veterans with military related trauma. We are also available for information, advice and signposting."
