Biscuits with quotesThis October, the DPT Charity is inviting people to put on their aprons and take part in ‘Ready, Steady…Bake’. This exciting campaign incorporates baking to help support mental health, learning disability needs and neurodiversity. Every cake and every treat can make a big difference to individuals in our care.

How can I get involved?

  • Bake Sales: Host a bake sale at your workplace, in your community, or even at home. A slice of cake can go a long way in making a difference
  • Tea Parties: Gather friends, family, and colleagues for a delightful tea party. Share stories, laughs, and scrumptious treats while supporting a crucial cause
  • Baking Challenges: Try making tricky pastries or delicious cupcakes to challenge yourself

By taking part, you are not just baking. You are making a change. The money you raise will help in important ways:

  • £50: Providing sensory items for those under our care, enhancing their comfort and wellbeing
  • £150: Supporting additional therapy, including uplifting animal-assisted treatments, to aid patient recovery
  • £450: Enabling us to offer extra services and activities, helping patient's on their journey to recovery
