Psychologist launches new novel in support of our charity COVID Fund

Posted by Devon Partnership Trust in Charity, News on 18th January, 2021

North Devon Psychologist and author Bill Wahl and Raven Crest Books are donating 50% of profits to our Charity from the first month of sales of a new novel – The Edge of The World.

Bill said: "I've worked for Devon Partnership Trust for 25 years and we have been through some tough times, but I really think that this period has been so challenging for staff at every level, and especially front line staff. I have seen so many services do an amazing job, adapting to some really difficult working circumstances. But it's also been a real strain, especially as these COVID conditions continue. With the support of my publishing company, Raven Crest Books, I want to raise funds for the DPT Charity and specifically the Charity COVID Fund."

To purchase Bill’s new novel, The Edge of the World, and to support our charity, click here for the Paperback Edition (£9.99) and here for the Kindle Edition (£3.99). There is also the opportunity to leave a review on Amazon, which would further support sales and donations.

To date the Charity COVID Fund has awarded over £64,000 grants since May to support staff and patient wellbeing as a result of the pandemic, which has included:

  • The enhancement to outdoor spaces
  • Equipment for socially distanced activity
  • Comfort items for staff and patients
  • Equipment for physical activity and engagement
