There was good representation from Devon Partnership Trust at the recent national Perinatal Quality Network (PQN) annual conference in London, with not one, but two speakers on the agenda. PQN are a part of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and work around the country to share best practice at a national level.
Juliette Kallaway, Perinatal Practice Lead for the Torbay and West Devon community Perinatal Teams, presented her work on developing a regional induction package across the South West for new starters to perinatal services.
James Lee, Perinatal Pharmacist, presented on his role as a pharmacist with a community perinatal team and how other teams might want to include a similar role within their services.
The conference took place at the Royal College of Psychiatrists in London on Friday 15 November and both talks were well attended with positive feedback from those that attended.
