For the Council of Governors of the Devon Partnership NHS Trust
The Trust gives notice that it will hold elections to the Council of Governors of the Devon Partnership NHS Trust
Elections are to be held for the following positions: 

5 Public Governors in the following constituencies:

  • Public: Torridge and North Devon (1 vacancy)

  • Public: Exeter, East Devon and Mid Devon (1 vacancy)

  • Public: Torbay (1 vacancy)

  • Public: South Hams, West Devon and Teignbridge (2 vacancies)

14 Patient Governors in the following constituencies:
  • Patient: Mental Health (6 vacancies)

  • Patient: Learning Disability (2 vacancies)

  • Patient: Specialist Services (eg forensic, prison, eating disorder, gender identity, drug and alcohol) (2 vacancies)

  • Patient: Carers and families (4 vacancies)

6 Staff Governors in the following constituencies:
  • Staff: Mental Health (includes headquarters, medical and assigned staff) (4 vacancies)

  • Staff: Learning Disability (1 vacancy)

  • Staff: Specialist Services (1 vacancy)

A nomination form to stand for election to these positions can be obtained from the Returning Officer at the address shown below.
All nomination papers should be received by the Returning Officer, Caroline Hinchcliffe, at the address as detailed below, by 5pm on Friday 2nd March 2012.

Faxed or emailed nominations will not be accepted.

Should any nominee wish to withdraw their nomination, they must put this in writing to the returning officer by 5pm on Wednesday 7th March 2012.
Ballot papers will be distributed to qualifying members on Thursday 22nd March 2012. Completed ballot papers must be received by the Independent Scrutineer by 5pm on Friday 13th April 2012.
