Myles runs the 'Feighan Fury'The 'Feighan Fury', a 10-mile trail run in the memory of our colleague Mike Feighan, took place on Sunday 23 March. Myles Galloway, Occupational Therapy Manager at Langdon in Dawlish was proud to complete the event.

Mike Feighan, who was an Occupational Therapist by profession, was a much-loved member of the local running community and championed exercise for mental health benefits. Tragically Mike passed away suddenly in 2021 and his running compatriots are determined that he is immortalised in this annual running event.

Myles said: "I worked with Mike just after I graduated from university as an Occupational Therapist. Mike was an invaluable role model to me during the forming part of my career and I’ll always be thankful for the guidance he gave me when I was still working things out. It was nice to be able to show acknowledgement towards him and know that his memory lives on in such a positive community event.

"Mike would often talk about getting out the house on those rainy and tough days as being the days you remember. He knew how to encourage people to face a little adversity and find out the benefits for themselves."

Myles finished the event 49th out of 149 competitors. Congratulations to everyone who took part.
