The first "Tea and Chat" session from Together at the St Sidwell's Community Centre in Exeter was a great success, with another session scheduled to take place on Wednesday 18 March in Barnstaple.
“Tea and chat” sessions are informal drop-ins for people who use our services, their carers, families, our staff and anyone with an interest in mental health and learning disability issues. The sessions provide information on the services available, offer the opportunity for feedback and the chance to meet other people who may have similar experiences. Service managers from North Devon will be on hand to offer help and advice.
The next session will be taking place on the 18 March at the Link Centre in Barnstaple, EX32 8BA from 2pm - 4pm. Click on the image to enlarge the photo.
Working together, we will use the feedback from the sessions to contribute to improvements and developments in services, making our local mental health and learning disability services the best they can be.
At the meetings we won’t be able to talk about specific cases, especially if there is an existing complaint, but we can consider more generally how to address any issues you and others may have experienced and focus on positive improvements which could be of benefit to everyone who uses our services and their carers and families.
We look forward to meeting you soon for an informal cup of tea and a chat.
