Jasmine Lodge receives LUSH donation

Posted by Devon Partnership Trust in News, Recovery and wellbeing on 15th August, 2022

Jasmine Lodge, our Mother and Baby Unit (MBU) were excited to receive a donation from LUSH, a company creating fresh handmade cosmetics.

LUSH provide charitable donations to registered and un-registered charities, not-for-profits and community organisations through their Charitable Giving programme. These are granted to individuals who can't easily access self-care products.

Gabrielle Hardwick, Assistant Psychologist Perinatal Mental Health, said: "I applied for this donation on the LUSH website to share the work we've been doing to help support mums and babies on their recovery journey. This included information on how colleagues have supported patients and why it would benefit us to have self-care products available on the ward for mums to use.

"Our application was received and accepted with LUSH kindly donating four boxes of their products to us. Two of these boxes were shared amongst colleagues and the remaining two are filled with products ready for us to offer to mums when they are first admitted to Jasmine Lodge".
