We are delighted to announce that Jasmine Lodge, our new Mother and Baby Unit in Exeter, became operational as from Monday 20 May 2019. Mums, babies, ward staff and the service’s Outreach Practitioners have now moved from the interim unit in Wonford House.

The address for the new unit is:

Jasmine Lodge
Dryden Road

The telephone number of 01392 539100 remains unchanged.

The Exeter Perinatal Community Mental Health team will also be moving over to Jasmine Lodge.

Here’s just some of the positive feedback we've had about the space from people that have visited:

‘Amazingly spacious and light – felt energised after walking round! So good for the families.’

‘Beautiful, calm and well-thought out family oriented space.’

‘Fab to see inside after watching the contractors over the last year. Spacious, light, airy and homely too. Hope you all enjoy the benefits of such a lot of hard work – best wishes.’

‘Thanks for the warm welcome and tour of your amazing MBU. What a great place for people to begin their recovery.’

‘Fabulous to see the Mother and Baby Unit come to fruition. The décor of the unit is calm with facilities that will care for the mother who is seriously ill and her baby from admission to being ready to go home, whilst keeping safety at the heart of care. Congratulations to all on this achievement!'
