International Clinical Trials Day

International Clinical Trials Day takes place on Tuesday 20 May 2014.

Devon Partnership NHS Trust believes that all people who use services, carers, families and staff should be able to participate and contribute to clinical research.

The benefits for individuals who are participating in studies include; closer monitoring, enhanced quality of care, and to contribute to improved healthcare for others. As a participant you may be required to complete questionnaires, participate in short interviews or trial new medications. Our Research and Development team (pictured) is keen to develop strong links with clinicians both to inform our current research studies and to identify areas for future research. We are proud to host a portfolio of research studies in areas such as; dementia, eating disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, alcohol dependency and learning disabilities.
