Healthcare Assistant, Louise Wells, who works on Coombehaven Ward at The Cedars in Exeter is running the London Marathon on 22 April 2018 to raise funds for a new therapeutic room at The Cedars.

Louise works part-time at The Cedars to support her studies to become a mental health nurse - she is currently a first-year student at Plymouth University.

Louise says: “The Cedars is looking to set up a new therapeutic room which will be a huge asset to the recovery of those who use it. I would like to use the funds raised to buy equipment such as a massage therapy bed so volunteers will be able to come in and provide therapy sessions.

“I would be so grateful if you could help me to achieve my £500 goal by donating to my gofundme page and thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Wish me luck!”
