This weekend, some of our staff will be taking on the 5K Inflatable in Exeter to support the DPT Charity. We wish the participants luck as they jump, slide and bounce their way to the finish line.
Hear from some of the participants involved:
Zoe Fischer, Occupational Therapy Assistant at Franklyn Hospital, said: "I did the 5K last year - it was a muddy blast - hoping to raise even more funds this year so we can put on events on the ward, such as visits from local bands, animals, food stalls, and the like that can bring a smile to everyone's face."
Ashley Zammit, Business Administrator at Whipton Hospital, said: “I have chosen to participate in the 5K Inflatable to give myself a new challenge while also having a good laugh – with the added benefit of raising money for an impactful cause!”
Alex Bott, Mental Health Practitioner and Occupational Therapist in the North Devon Older People Mental Health (OPMH) Community Team, said: “I am participating in the 5K Inflatable to support the DPT Charity. My goal is to raise awareness and enhance resources for the vital services the charity provides, including support for mental health, learning disabilities, and neurodiversity.”
