Get involved with an inspiring animation

Posted on 23rd July, 2015

Children of parents with mental health issues often have many questions and a lot of worries about their mum or dad but may well never have met another child who has gone through something similar. Now there's an great opportunity for them to share their thoughts and to help other children at the same time. We are working with ForMed films to create an animation which will be based on the children's own words about mental ill health. We want to bring their words to life so that other children will feel less confused and alone. So that you can see how powerful this type of animation can be, here's an earlier film produced by ForMed Films, which is a child's guide to radiotherapy - click here to view.

Please take a look at this this flyer and share it with anyone you think might be interested. Contact Dr Jo Black on 01392 208866 as soon as possible if you would like to know more. We would like to meet with interested families in August to share the plan with them and what their involvement could be. Parents will, of course, be involved at every step.
