Limited free places are available now for the Exeter Great West Run on Sunday 11 October to support our charity.
Donations enable us to provide above and beyond what the NHS is able to fund. This could be a therapy session which stimulates memories, the increased capacity of a vital service, or the transformation of a space which allows our patients to thrive.
The 13.1 mile route has it all; a journey through the city centre, followed by pretty country lanes and stunning views across Exeter and a fantastic stadium finish.
Last year Becky Carpenter took part and raised £425 for our charity. She said: “I found the run itself enjoyable, the atmosphere was brilliant and there was lots of support despite the weather. I think mental health has often been overlooked in the past, maybe seen as not as important as something physical. But I'm pleased to see that seems to be changing now, and am delighted that I was able to raise funds to help in that particular area.”
In return for your free places we ask that you agree to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship.
So grab your running shoes and take on this challenge in 2020? Don’t miss out, sign up today by emailing Daniel Robson, Head of Charity Fundraising at firstname.lastname@example.org.
