Ellan wins regional Our Health Heroes Award!

Congratulations to Ellan Corner, Assistant Practitioner in our Teignbridge Learning Disability Primary Care Liaison Team, who has won a regional Our Health Heroes award in the Clinical Support Worker category!

The Our Health Heroes awards celebrate the true heroes in healthcare who go above and beyond the call of duty on a daily basis.

Ellan will now be put forward for the national award which is decided by public vote. Votes are open until 8 November to vote for Ellan via the Skills for Health website.

Here is what Ellan’s colleagues say about her:

“Ellan is an experienced Assistant Practitioner working within learning disabilities for 19 years. Her core values are based on working in a person-centred way, involving people with a learning disability in all aspects of their care and treatment and we often receive both positive feedback from clients, colleagues and carers who Ellan has worked with about the care and support she gives.”

Ellan will be attending the awards ceremony on Friday 23 November 2018 at the OXO2 Tower in London along with Katy Welsh, Primary Care Liaison Team Manager, who nominated Ellan for the award.
