Consultant Psychiatrist and Dean of the Royal College of Psychiatrists Dr Kate Lovett has been named in a special Centenary edition of Medical Women magazine.

The edition showcases 80 prominent female figures in the world of medicine.

Dr Lovett said: "I was Incredibly honoured to be one of 80 women doctors featured in the special Centenary edition of "Medical Women". Although we have come a long way over the last century in terms of equality of opportunity women still remain under-represented at consultant level and in senior roles in medicine. I hope this publication will encourage young doctors to "lean in" and seize opportunities to learn new skills and grow to achieve their full professional potential throughout their careers"
