Don't miss TALKWORKS' Understanding IBS workshops

Do you, or someone you care about, have a diagnosis of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and want to find out more about this condition?

The team at TALKWORKS have added new dates for their 'Understanding IBS’ wellbeing workshop, delivered in partnership with the Royal Devon University Healthcare Trust. The workshop will teach participants a range of useful tools and techniques for managing symptoms of IBS, as well as information and advice for living with IBS, based on the latest evidence.

The workshop is available to book onto on any of the following dates:
Monday 11 September 10:00 (remote via MS Teams)
Friday 3 November 10:00 (remote via MS Teams)
Monday 11 December 10:00 (remote via MS Teams)

The 2 hour session will cover the following:
• What is IBS? Symptoms, possible causes and myths.
• Why do gut symptoms keep going?
• What are the links between diet and IBS?
• What is the latest evidence for treatment?
• What can we do to help us to manage the symptoms?

The workshop is free to attend and you can book your place by calling 0300 555 3344. You must be living in Devon and registered with a Devon GP in order to attend this workshop.

TALKWORKS also has a dedicated Talking Health team who can help adults (age 18+) across Devon, living with a long term physical health condition. One-to-one treatment and support is available with a TALKWORKS Clinician, either face-to-face, by video call or over the phone. You can refer yourself for support by calling 0300 555 3344, or by filling out a self-referral form on the TALKWORKS website.
