Charity COVID Fund update

Posted by Devon Partnership Trust in Charity, News on 12th January, 2021

Thank you so much to our communities both locally and nationally who have come together to raise money for our charity. Our staff have been working tirelessly to continue to provide our vital mental health and learning disability services during this pandemic.

To date the DPT Charity and with funding from NHS Charities Together have allocated over £64,000 and approved many requests from staff and patients to help improve wellbeing and recovery since May. These have included, but are not limited to:

Lorraine Morgan, Business Support Co-ordinator at Bristol Dementia Wellbeing Service said: “The bench is situated in the gardens of Brookland Hall, which is a little oasis in the middle of the City, the garden is full of birds and wildlife including squirrels and foxes. It will definitely help staff to unwind from the stresses of their roles, especially in these difficult times and whatever the future brings. Without doubt, this will be heavily used in the warmer months and will have a positive impact on staff’s mental health and wellbeing."
