Celebrating International Nurses Day

As we get ready to celebrate International Nurses Day this Sunday, on the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth, we would like to thank all our nurses and support staff for the fantastic care that they provide for people day in, day out.

Better and safer care for people is at the heart of what we do, and we are committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of everyone using health and social care services across all our services.

Chris Burford, Interim Executive Director of Nursing and Practice, said: "I would also like to thank our nurses who will be working on Sunday and hope you and all our nurses get a moment to reflect on the the amazing work that you all do."
