Caroline completes the Exmoor Open Water Swim for our Charity

Posted by Devon Partnership Trust in Charity, News on 12th October, 2021

In September Caroline Nicholson, Devon Recovery Learning Community Manager took on the Exmoor Open Water Swim at Wimbleball Lake.

Caroline swam an incredible 2.2km, raising £1,500 for our charity.

She said: “I've done it! It was a challenge and it took me a lot longer than I thought with swimmers passing me the whole time. I wasn't last out, but it wasn't a race. It was a personal challenge and a fabulous chance to do something positive for myself, for others and for Devon Partnership NHS Trust. Thank you everyone who supported me. I know the money will make a huge difference to help support mental health services in Devon. Dory says it best: Just keep swimming!”
