Posted by Devon Partnership Trust in News on 5th June, 2019

Next week is Carers’ Week (10-16 June) and we wanted to give you some advance notice of the events that are taking place around the county which have been organised by Devon Carers.

The theme this year is ‘Getting Carers Connected’ and there is a wide range of events on offer for carers to connect with each other and with services which could help them. There’s forest bathing in Dartington, a trip to RHS Rosemoor, a tour around Killerton House, Horsemanship for Health in Newton Abbot, Fish and Chips and a stroll in Lynmouth and much more. Find the full list of events here.

Devon Carers has a regular Peer Support service with informal groups and activities running throughout the year where carers can meet other carers, share their knowledge and experience, and help each other with emotional and practical support. Carers play an essential role in helping those they care for stay well or get better. They provide a vital source of practical and emotional care and support that is often invaluable. You can read read our Carers and Families Strategy here.
