Carers Rights Day 2018 - Friday 30th November

Posted by Devon Partnership Trust in Carers, News on 27th November, 2018

Each year Carers Rights Day, held by charity Carers UK, aims to bring organisations across the UK together to help carers in their local community know their rights and find out how to get the help and support they are entitled to. This year the theme is Caring For Your Future.

One of our core aims is to ensure that our services are shaped by the voices of the people who use them. Our Together programme, which launched last year, involves those who use our services and their carers in service delivery and improvement.

Our Together Delivery Group takes this important work forward and many of its members are people with lived experience, family members, supporters or carers.
Ian Henwood, Together Lead, will be hosting a table in reception on Friday morning. Please say hello and pick up some information.
