The Daily Mail has launched its new Health Hero awards campaign to honour unsung medical heroes.

Journalist and presenter Angela Rippon's Health Hero is Nellie Minnema, previously one of our psychiatric nurses, now retired. Nellie worked in older people's services in west Devon and supported Angela with her mother Edna's dementia.
