Amazing challenges happening this weekend to support our Charity

Posted by Devon Partnership Trust in Charity, News on 22nd September, 2022

Sal, who is skydiving for DPT charityThis weekend we have some incredible people taking on some truly challenging events to support the DPT Charity.

This includes:

Sal Aziz, Personal Assistant at Devon Partnership NHS Trust who is taking on a 15,000ft tandem skydive on Saturday to support Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). He said: “The opportunity to fundraise by jumping out of a plane seemed too exciting to pass up! I feel people should fundraise for the NHS as the money raised allows services to do amazing things for their clients, service users and staff that just wouldn’t be possible." You can support Sal by visiting his Just Giving page.

Caroline Nicholson, manager of the Devon Recovery Learning Community is swimming the Exmoor Open Water Swim at Wimbleball Lake on Sunday and said: “I hope to improve my technique and shave a few minutes off last years’ time, and maybe, just possibly, not be last in their class out of the water!” You can read Caroline's story here. You can support her swim by visiting her JustGiving page.

If you would like to take part in an excellent challenge and also raise funds for our charity to help benefit our services, please contact Daniel Robson, Head of Charity Fundraising at Daniel.robson3@nhs.net.

Our Charity exists to meet the wishes of patients, carers and employees of Devon Partnership NHS Trust to enhance our care.
