Our Learning Disability Epilepsy Nurse Acute Care Liaison Service supports people with a learning disability with epilepsy or suspected epilepsy when they go into hospital. This can either be for a planned admission, as an emergency, or as an outpatient. The liaison team will deal with any consent issues, and follow the person from admission to discharge checking that they have what they need and that they understand the information given to them.
