Coronavirus (COVID-19)
For information and advice, please read our coronavirus page. Read More.

We have made some temporary changes to the way we support people and how our teams are contacted. People visiting patients on our wards and visiting our other locations are asked to arrange their visit in advance and to follow some simple steps. This is to ensure the safety of our staff and everyone we support. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Learning Disability Epilepsy Nurse Acute Care Liaison Service - North Devon

Description

Our Learning Disability Epilepsy Nurse Acute Care Liaison Service supports people with a learning disability with epilepsy or suspected epilepsy when they go into hospital. This can either be for a planned admission, as an emergency, or as an outpatient. The liaison team will deal with any consent issues, and follow the person from admission to discharge checking that they have what they need and that they understand the information given to them.
