Dewnans Centre, part of our secure services at Langdon near Dawlish, has 60 beds over four wards - Ashcombe, Holcombe, Warren and Cofton – where we provide medium secure accommodation for men with mental health needs.
The Dewnans Centre is the country's newest medium secure accommodation, it has the following wards:
- Ashcombe is for acute admissions
- Holcombe is for people with particularly complex needs
- Warren and Cofton wards prepare people to step down to our ‘low secure’ accommodation, or to be discharged into the community.
