GP advice and referral

We currently offer the following helpline information for GPs:

Older people's service

A dedcated helpline is available to GPs who have questions or concerns about older patients with mental health needs. The helpline is available from Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm and we aim to respond to you within two hours. The telephone number to call is:

01392 676 354

Out of hours - single point of access

We deliver an out of hours telephone support service to people known and in crisis. This service will see all Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams' (CRHT) telephone numbers, diverted to a central number from 8pm-8am, seven days a week.

Individuals calling the service can expect the call to be responded to by a dedicated, trained Support Worker with call handling responsibilities, who will be able to offer initial advice and support. They will have access to a Triage Clinician offering clinical support and who will be located with them.
